Scattered Means Not Focused
A reminder to self on the lessons of entropy
Scattered means not focused. It means chaos. Energy shooting in all different directions — not concentrated. It is where the majority of people live. It’s not a bad thing. It has reasons for its whys.
Scattered is a temporary cure for loneliness. Scattered is an escape from fear. Scattered fills in all the spaces that would otherwise be filled with void. Void is scary because it is a blackhole. Blackholes suck you in when you have no direction.
Scattered is part of the process. The problem is, many people never leave that state. Scattered keeps you busy so you won’t have to deal with the void. Scattered is using small bursts of energy here and there but getting nowhere.
Scattered is exhausting — you feel exhausted despite having “done nothing”. But, at the same time, “everything”. You go everywhere, but, in the end, you end up nowhere.
It starts as a process. But it becomes a choice.
